Base Pair Type:AC reverse Hoogsteen
Base Pair Category:Normal Purine-Pyrimidine Base Pairs; Trans Watson-Crick/Hoogsteen
Sequence Context:5'  3'
C-A,Carbonyl-amino
A-C
G-G,Carbonyl-amino
3'  5'
Structure:Ribonucleoprotein core of the SRP
Pucker Info:C2' endo
Melting Point:*
Free Energy:*
Chemical Shift:*
Glycosidic Conf:*
Extra Info:A47 and C62 are universally conserved. The base pair is extruded into the minor groove and provides cross strand stacking between G61 and C46. Ser O-gamma of the protein forms base specific hydrogen bond with O2 of C62 and N6 of G8. Ala-377 O and N6 of G48 and Asn-380 and N2 of A47 also make base specific hydrogen bonds.
